I-9 Employment Verification in Akron, Ohio
Updated: 4 days ago

Starting a new job remotely or working for an out-of-state employer? You may be asked to find someone locally to complete the employer’s portion of your Form I-9. That’s where I come in.
With your employer’s authorization, I can review your documents and complete Section 2 as their authorized representative—making the process easy and straightforward.
What Is Form I-9?
U.S. employers use Form I-9 to verify a new employee’s identity and authorization to work in the United States.
You complete and sign Section 1 no later than your first day of work. Your employer—or their authorized representative—generally completes Section 2 within three business days after that first day.
Why Work With a Notary?
I-9 verification is not a notarization, and no notary stamp or seal is used. For this service, I act as your employer’s authorized representative.
My experience as a notary includes reviewing identification, handling important documents, and paying attention to details. I follow your employer’s instructions when reviewing your documents and completing their portion of the form.
